West Cheltenham Health Project Co-ordinator 

Up to 25 hours per week

24 MONTH CONTRACT

£24,625 per year pro-rata based on 40 hours / week

Are you passionate about co-ordinating community projects?

A range of organisations have come together to develop a community-based health and wellbeing project that is working with the local community in West Cheltenham.

The aim of the project is to support the West Cheltenham community to help itself to become a more healthy, engaged and resilient community

We are looking for the right person to co-ordinate the project, bringing organisations and residents together to deliver a programme of projects.

As the co-ordinator, you will help ensure that local residents and organisations feel engaged in the project, and work with them to understand local health-related needs and opportunities. 

You will then support the development and delivery of health and wellbeing activities, projects and events which meet these local needs and play a supportive role in the delivery of these activities, projects and events.

  • Be passionate about the role of local residents and make sure that they are at the heart of the project
  • Understand and communicate what the health needs of the community are
  • Champion the local community and the community organisations that work within it

Sessional Youth Worker

Up to 6 hours per week

12 Month Contract

£9.50 - £11 per hour dependent on experience 

As a youth worker you will set, organise and run community programmes aimed at young people between 10 and 18 years. Through these programmes, you will help young people to explore and understand their ideas, values and beliefs. You will help young people to build their confidence, improve their life skills and enable make a successful transition into adulthood.

Youth work relies on voluntary participation from young people and you will be required to build a relationship on trust in order to support and empower the young people that you will be working with.
