Digital Inclusion Gloucestershire Intiative (DIGI)
We are proud to work in partnership with the Digital Inclusion Gloucestershire Initiative (DIGI), helping to make sure that people across Gloucestershire are not left behind as more services, information and everyday activities move online. DIGI brings together eight community organisations, combining local knowledge and trusted community support to reduce digital exclusion.
Through the partnership, people can access free, friendly and practical digital support, whether they need help using a smartphone, tablet or computer, accessing online services, completing forms, using the NHS App, searching for employment or simply building their confidence online.
Here at Springbank Community Group CiC, our Digi Hub Mentor is Rachel, who provides friendly, patient and practical support to help people overcome digital barriers, build their skills and become more confident and independent when using technology.
We believe digital inclusion is about much more than knowing how to use a device. It is about helping people stay connected, access essential services and participate fully in an increasingly digital world.

Digi Hubs
Digi Hubs provide free, friendly digital support in trusted community settings across Gloucestershire.
People can get practical help with smartphones, tablets and computers, using email and apps, accessing online services and the NHS App, completing forms, searching for employment and staying safe online.
In 2025, Digi Hubs supported over 5,000 people across Gloucestershire, with more than half returning for further support.
Digital Champions Network (DCN)
Digital Champions are staff and volunteers who provide patient, practical support to help people build their digital skills and confidence by helping them understand how to use technology for themselves, supporting greater confidence and independence online.
The DCN is a free network for anyone providing digital support in Gloucestershire, delivering training, arranging meet-ups and providing opportunities for peer-to-peer support. If you have some free time to help others and are an average user of tech, please get in touch to find out more.
Digi@Home
For people who may struggle to access a Digi Hub, Digi@Home brings digital support into the home.
This personalised support can help people with their own devices, internet connection and everyday digital needs, ensuring those who face barriers to getting out can still access the help they need.

Working Together Across Gloucestershire
DIGI brings together eight community organisations from across Gloucestershire: Forest Voluntary Action Forum (FVAF), Creative Sustainability, GL11 Community Hub, Brockworth Link, Gloucester Community Building Collective (GCBC), Springbank Community Group CiC, Cotswold Friends, and The Churn Community Hub.
By working together, we combine trusted local relationships with shared knowledge, resources and expertise. This partnership enables us to reach more communities, share good practice and provide accessible digital support that helps people develop the skills and confidence they need to benefit from an increasingly digital world.
Our Role in DIGI
As a partner in the Digital Inclusion Gloucestershire Initiative (DIGI), Springbank Community Group CiC provides free, practical digital support to people in our local community through our Digi Hub and opportunities to become involved as Digital Champions.
Our Digi Hub Mentor, Rachel, can support people who need help getting online, using a smartphone, tablet or computer, accessing digital services, or simply becoming more confident with technology. Support is friendly, patient and tailored to the individual.
